Hi, and welcome back to the second day of Camp Crafters! Today, Jamie will be showing us how to make a perler bead bastille day necklace for your doll. Enjoy!
“Hello, there! I’m Jamie, and today I’m gonna show y’all how to make a necklace just like the one I’m wearing here! It’s super easy, and you can even make a matching bracelet, if you want.”
“All you need is yarn in the color of your choice (I used blue) and perler beads. For a Bastille Day necklace, you’ll need dark blue, white, and red beads, like the colors of the French flag. In case you didn’t know, Bastille Day is a French holiday in July that’s basically a French 4th of July.’
Step 1: Knot the end of your yarn. You might want to do it twice, just in case.
Step 2: Start threading your beads on. For a one like Jamie’s, do a dark blue bad, hen a white, then a red, and keep repeating that.
Step 3: Tie the necklace around your doll’s neck.
Yay! You’re done!
You could make this necklace in as many different colors as you want. I also made a rainbow one, which is even cuter than this one.
“Don’t forget the bracelet! It’s really easy to make. You just do the same thing as with the necklace, but smaller.”
“Aren’t my sneakers cute?”
“Bye! I hope you have a great day.”
I hope you enjoyed this craft!
