I just kept running, not knowing where I was going or where I would end up.
My trusty dog, Buddy, never left my side.
Even when we are going up steep hills or if we passed another animal’s territory.
At one point of our journey be came to a river.
I watched carefully as Buddy walked across, it seemed fine. I also spotted so horse tracks in the area, so people must have crossed here not long ago.
Before we knew is, we were safely across.
But the river wasn’t the thing that scared me, it was sleeping outside in the forest under the old tree. Or running out of food. Everything that was on Paint’s back was everything I had left.
At one point, I didn’t think I could make it any further.
Then all of a sudden, I came across a little shed!
“Look Paint and Buddy!” I shouted.
Inside the shed was a little chair and a bed.
“Buddy! Come here boy!”
Buddy seemed really happy to have a soft place to rest.
“Wait,” I said softly. I paused for a second, someone was outside.
What do you think will happen next? Check back in two weeks and we’ll have the next part out! Bye!
